Tacos, by my sister!


Well, today I've done only two things from my ''To-do-on-a-free-day'' list.
I called my mom, to let her know what time I'm arriving at the airport in Gdansk.
And I've checked is it okay with Ryanair to have separate camera bag with cabin baggage.
Oh yes, there was also the third thing- I didn't leave my bed until 11 o'clock.
Epic win!

Tomorrow after work I am going to the city, not alone what gives me the will to go. By ''the city'' I mean of course Amsterdam, and going alone is not as fun as going with someone to mess around.


I just can't wait to arrive in Gdansk.

To be picked up by my dad and park our car in front of our block. Look at all the balconies and people hanging at them, watching me coming out of the car and wondering ''is she here for good, or is it only for holiday?'' I want to see my cat, hug him. I missed that motherF a lot!
I want to enter my room, leave my trolley there. Go the the kitchen, open the fridge just to check what's in it.
Grab my favourite polish beer and go to the living room to watch some brainless TV.

My shcedule is busy, really, not enough days to catch up with everybody.
But I hope to see the most important people.

I miss them.

P.S. Mom told me that it's 23 degrees (celsius) in Poland. Dude, that's like.. summer! In your face! HA!

Once upon a time..

There was this girl who decided she is completely done with working only to bring money home, while she literally couldn't stand her working environment anymore. She quit her job and began the search for a new one. It took her a lot of nerves to find anything. Sure, she had some offers men said she can't refuse. But she did refuse them because she is not just a pretty face to 'keep her image' to convince others she's good. She could be counting stocks in China now, flying from country to country because she closed a lot of deals, but no, it just didn't seem real in the end, there had to be a catch. She didn't find one in what she was offered in one restaurant. She found it a warm, cozy place with lovely people and by the way- serving her favorite kind of food. What could go wrong? Love- hate relationship, pt. I

From time to time, when meeting new people I am being repeatedly asked the same two questions. Question #1: ' Do you miss Poland ?' Question #2: ' So, do you like it here?' My natural reaction to both of the above stated questions is rolling my eyes, smiling politely and nodding: I never want to get into the details of probable answers because if I would, it wouldn't be a small talk anymore. I don't do small talk and if I do I am very awkward at it. I avoid it at all possible costs yet still, sometimes it finds me and bites me in the ass.
