Mayonaise.

So I am having a coffe with a croissant (yep, irony, I baked so many of them at work but I'm eating one at home), checking what happened on facebook when I wasn't online (not much people, you're having a free Sunday and still doing nothing?) and watching my niece, dancing to the soundtrack from ''Rio''. She has some serious moves!


The sun is shining and I am trying to remember how does it feel like to sit in the garden with a cold beer, because it's so hot. Well, I know it feels great, but summer.. I just started to doubt will it come this year.
We can't even make it to the spring, and I'm dreaming about summer!


Damn, the washing machine ended its cycle. I need to take my uniform out, to dry. But oh my God, it's upstairs.. so many stairs and me so tired. I'm not lazy, I've just been walking enough today.


I can't wait for my small holiday in Poland. 12th May, come faster! Class reunion, visiting friends, catching up in the city, good old pubs and -ladies & gentlemen- my mummy's dinners! You can't imagine how badly I want them haha!


I just love good food. And my mum has few dishes that she's the best in.
And Poland has some specialties that you won't find anywhere else. Suck it, Netherlands, with your hutspot and stamppot! You don't know anything about cooking.
When I see what supermarkts here sell as a sausage, I would honestly like to directly pack my bags and run to my hometown.
But yeah, you have Smullers at every corner, so fuck good food. Let's stuff our stomachs with kroketten, yeah! Oh I know! This clip below says everything about Dutch kitchen:








By the way, if you hear Pulp Fction theme (because I play the soundtrack on the stereo in the kitchen) and you say ''Hey, it's sounds a bit like that music from Pulp Fitcion.." it means that you're on a good way, but still- not self confident enough to scream ''OH MY GOD, IT'S FROM PULP FICTION, I LOVE THAT MOVIE!''

Once upon a time..

There was this girl who decided she is completely done with working only to bring money home, while she literally couldn't stand her working environment anymore. She quit her job and began the search for a new one. It took her a lot of nerves to find anything. Sure, she had some offers men said she can't refuse. But she did refuse them because she is not just a pretty face to 'keep her image' to convince others she's good. She could be counting stocks in China now, flying from country to country because she closed a lot of deals, but no, it just didn't seem real in the end, there had to be a catch. Love- hate relationship, pt. I

From time to time, when meeting new people I am being repeatedly asked the same two questions. Question #1: ' Do you miss Poland ?' Question #2: ' So, do you like it here?' My natural reaction to both of the above stated questions is rolling my eyes, smiling politely and nodding: I never want to get into the details of probable answers because if I would, it wouldn't be a small talk anymore. I don't do small talk and if I do I am very awkward at it. I avoid it at all possible costs yet still, sometimes it finds me and bites me in the ass.
